Marsharsha has had this station for about three years; this is his third harvest. He is a second-generation coffee grower who originally comes from Yirgacheffe where his family has several coffee plantations and washing stations. His agriculture degree at Addis Ababa University helps him hone his growing practices to create exceptional flavour in his coffee,
He chose to start his washing station in Gedeb because it has incredible conditions
for growing coffee. The high altitude microclimate, soil and all the different plant varieties contribute to the complexity of this delicious anaerobic natural.
Marshasha has been putting dedicated work into this farm to provide high-quality coffee and support farmers around his washing station too!
